Cairns Liveaboard 3 Day PADI Advanced and Nitrox Course

from $1390 AUD

About your PADI Advanced Open Water & Nitrox Combo Course

Cairns Liveaboard 3 Day PADI Advanced and Nitrox Courses. We recommend completing both these dive courses on a 3 Day Liveaboard  as it is the most convenient way to get the most out of your diving. With more available dives it is also the most affordable way to complete all your dive certifications.

The PADI Advanced Course is your next level of certification as an Open Water Diver. This course is made up of five speciality dives which will fine tune your open water skills enhancing particularly diving over 20metres as well as seeing your navigation and buoyancy skills improved.  The PADI Nitrox (Enriched Air) course is a PADI speciality certification made up of some theory and requires only two dives which can be simply combined with your Advanced Course. The benefits of being Nitrox Certified allows for the use of enriched air (more oxygen) instead of compressed air. Diving on nitrox extends our allowable bottom time and reduces our nitrogen load over multiple dives – making it ideal for liveaboard trips. The Nitrox Course is a very popular course if you like underwater photography and videography, allowing you more time to get that awesome shot or video footage.

There is no more spectacular classroom than The Great Barrier Reef, with its abundant marine life, diverse dive sites with amazing visibility and year-round excellent diving conditions.

Course Highlights

  • 3 Day 2 Night Liveaboard Trip on the Outer Great Barrier Reef
  • Completing both your Advanced and Nitrox Certifications
  • Being certified to dive to 30 metres as well as diving on Nitrox (giving you more bottom time)
  • 11 Dives which includes 2 night dives over a variety of different reef locations

Availability – Courses start every day except Tuesdays

Duration – Three days

Course Outline –  PADI eLearning – Theory completed prior to starting the trip
