Tour types and times may be affected by tidal variations and weather conditions. Schedules are approximate and subject to change without notice. The vessel described in a tour is a guide only; substitutions may occur. Maximum passenger numbers may vary. Tour itineraries may differ from published descriptions.

Cancellations & Alterations
Coral Bay Ecotours reserves the right to cancel or modify tours without notice. Cancellations may occur on the day of the tour due to weather, mechanical issues, low passenger numbers, or other unforeseen circumstances. Any additional costs resulting from a cancellation are the passenger’s responsibility. Minimum numbers are required for each tour to operate. If minimum numbers are not met, we will attempt to reschedule. If rescheduling is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
Water Entry & Safety
The skipper reserves the right to deny water entry to any passenger deemed to lack the required swimming ability, pose a danger to themselves or others, or violate tour rules. Passengers participating in Marine Ecotours, Whale Shark, and Humpback Whale tours should be competent swimmers. Wildlife sightings and interactions are not guaranteed, as marine animals are wild and behave unpredictably. Entry into the water will not be permitted if it may disturb or alter natural marine life behaviour.
General Policies
Smoking is strictly prohibited on all boats. Coral Bay Ecotours is not responsible for loss or damage of luggage, personal belongings, or equipment. Coral Bay Ecotours is not liable for injury or death during embarkation, transit, or disembarkation.
Health & Medical Requirements
Passengers are strongly encouraged to obtain travel insurance before their tour. Passengers with allergies or medical conditions must bring necessary medications (e.g., asthma puffers, EpiPens). Failure to bring required medication may result in denial of boarding on the day of the tour.
Booking fee, Deposit & Refund Policy
A minimum 25% of the order needs to be paid as a deposit to confirm the booking. The balance of the booking needs to be paid 5 days prior to tour date. Online booking fees and Credit card surcharges are non-refundable. This applies even if the tour is cancelled by Coral Bay Ecotours due to unforeseen circumstances.
Child/ Infant Policy
Child passengers are defined as being an age of 6 years old to 16 years old. 17 year old passengers are defined as adults. Family prices refer to 2 adults and 2 children between 6 and 16 years old. Children 5 years and under at the time of tour are Free of Charge (FOC) EXCEPT when swimming with whale sharks or humpback whales. In these cases, the child will be charged at child prices. All minors must be accompanied by parents or guardians AT ALL TIMES who are entirely responsible for their care. Children must not be left unattended by parents or guardians on any tour boat or whilst in the water at any time. All infants are allowed to join the reef snorkels on all tours with no extra charge. Infants who wants to swim with Whale Sharks, Manta Rays and Humpback Whales will be charged as Child. Please book as child instead of infant to avoid missing out as these tours have very limited seats.
Child Supervision Policy
An adult must accompany any passenger under the age of 15 at all times, this includes all in-water activities. Children under the age of 15 are not permitted to be left on the vessel unaccompanied, this includes when an in-water activity is taking place. Adults are to to take turns in the water if a minor wishes to remain on-board.
Whale Shark Safari - No Sighting Policy
Coral Bay Ecotours does not offer non-sighting repeat vouchers or refunds for this tour.
Humpback Whale Safari - No Swim Policy
In the event that an in-water interaction is not possible on the day of the tour, Interaction swimmers will be refunded from the interaction price to the ‘Wildlife swimmer’ price. Coral Bay Ecotours does not offer non-sighting repeat vouchers for this tour. Please note no refund will be offered if no sighting while in the water occurs. Swim with Whale Shark is also considered as in-water interaction and no refund will be offered. NO Camera Policy: Passengers are not permitted to take any cameras or filming equipment in the water for in-water interactions with the Humpback Whales. This is for safety reasons, to ensure all passengers can focus on the interaction and listening to their crew for instructions without the distraction of cameras. Cameras are still permitted during all other times of the tour.
