Mission Beach Dive provides snorkel and dive trips to the Great Barrier Reef, from Mission Beach. This is the only operator in the area and they take relatively small numbers, which makes for a really personalized Great Barrier Reef day tour. Your day begins with a transfer from Mission Beach to nearby Dunk Island, where you transfer to a larger boat for the day tour. In total, you get about four (4) hours to snorkel and dive the Great Barrier Reef, before departing around 3pm to get back to Mission Beach around 4.45-5pm. All snorkel and dive equipment is included in the tour price, as is light refreshments, a full buffet lunch including prawns, and a kids club in the galley on the way home. Introductory and certified scuba divers can book up to 2 dives. You will need to bring hats and sunscreen, towels, swimmers and a change of clothes. Cash for any extra snacks and drinks purchased on board.
