About your day trip to the Museum Of Underwater Art and Great Barrier Reef

The Museum of Underwater Art, which renowned artist Jason deCaires Taylor created, sits off the coast of Townsville, where it offers a captivating and innovative attraction blending art and marine conservation. This underwater gallery showcases a series of breathtaking sculptures submerged in the crystal-clear waters of John Brewer Reef. These sculptures not only function as stunning artistic installations but also serve as artificial reefs, creating a habitat for marine life and promoting coral growth.

Visitors can explore this mesmerizing underwater world by taking snorkeling and diving tours, allowing them to marvel at the unique fusion of art and nature while gaining a deeper understanding of the significance of marine conservation.
