3 Day PADI eLearning Dive courses from Exmouth, Ningaloo Reef. Learning to scuba dive on Ningaloo Reef is nothing short of spectacular. Home of the Whale Sharks in Australia and also regular sightings of Manta Rays. Your experience will be an unparalleled underwater adventure which means that not only will you gain the skills that you need to dive safely and enjoyably, but you will get to visit some spectacular dive sites and see amazing sea creatures from your very first ocean training dive.
Please note 2 people are required to run this course, so bring a friend or let us know your preferred dates and we will try to find a buddy for you.
Your PADI 3 Day (E-Learning) Open Water Course is run over three days.
Step 1: Knowledge Development (online, independent study or in a classroom) to learn basic principles of scuba diving. This needs to be completed prior to starting Day 1 of your course. To commence your E-Learning (online version) of the open water course manual you will receive an email with a link to watch the required videos online. You will do your knowledge reviews online and required to present these on the morning of your course, the Final exam is then done in the classroom. This option is at no extra charge and of the total course cost.
Step 2: Day 1 – Confined (pool) Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Step 3: Day 2 & 3 – Four accompanied Open Water Dives onboard a boat, to practice your skills and explore

All training dives are completed on Ningaloo Reef and the surrounding Muiron Islands. Once completed and now certified scuba diver you will have the option to participate in more dives while staying in Exmouth. One must do dive is the Navy Pier. Let us know if you have the time and are interested in doing more diving while in Exmouth.
Dive Medical Statement – Some medical conditions may prevent you from participating in scuba diving activities. Please read through the attached dive medical statement prior to booking. If you answer a positive response to any questions you maybe required to complete a dive medical stating your are medically fit to scuba dive. If it has been identified on the stated document that you: (a) have or have had any of the medical conditions mentioned in the medical declaration; or (b) are over 45 years old; or (c) have a body mass index over 30 AND a waist circumference greater than 102 cm for males and 88 cm for females; then you must provide an English language 10346E_Diver_Medical_Participant_Questionnaire_2022_02_1 from a doctor, certifying that you are medically fit to dive.
Everyone undertaking training for an entry level recreational diving certificate must be at least 10 years of age. If the diver is under 18, parental or guardian consent should be obtained for the diver to undertake training for an entry-level recreational diving certificate.
Dive Medical (if applicable)
Some medical conditions may prevent you from participating in scuba diving activities. We will provide you at the time of your enquiry or booking a PADI medical questionnaire to determine if a dive medical is required. If you answer yes to any of the questions you must see a Doctor for a diving medical certificate done to Australian Standard 4005.1 stating that you are fit to dive prior to starting your course for your own safety.
There is a medical centre right in the heart of Perth city – across from the bus port. Traveler’s Medical Centre, 1 Mill St. Phone 08 9321 1977. Just ring and make an appointment. Medicals are not currently reliably available in Exmouth so you must get your medical completed to the correct standard before you arrive. Refunds are not available if you are unable to obtain a medical.
The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

The four open water dives are conducted over two days from a dive boat which visits 2 different sites each day on the Ningaloo Reef and the Muiron Islands.
