FAQ

Yes, strong swimming skills are required to join our snorkelling tours. You must be able to swim and stay afloat without assistance to safely enter the water. Beginner snorkelers are welcome on our daytime tours, but it is important that you can swim at least 50 yards without additional floatation. This requirement is in place for your safety, the safety of our crew, and the comfort of other guests onboard.
Your safety is our top priority. Our trips include detailed safety briefings, high-quality snorkelling equipment, flotation devices, and experienced guides.
Our snorkelling tour is recommended for children aged 6 and above, who are confident swimmers and comfortable in an open water environment. All children will need to be under parental supervision at all times.
We accommodate up to 40 snorkelers per trip, with a crew-to-guest ratio of 1 to 10 to ensure personalised attention and safety.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before departure can be rescheduled or refunded without penalty. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure will incur a 100% cancellation fee. If the tour is cancelled by Pure Snorkelling due to operational considerations (e.g., weather conditions, mechanical issues, or safety concerns), guests will have the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
Snorkelling adventures include inherent risks. While we make every effort to safeguard our clients, we cannot be held responsible for personal injury or loss due to actions beyond our control. We HIGHLY recommend that all customers obtain travel insurance covering illness, injury, loss or damage to personal belongings, road closures, flooding, and other natural disasters—particularly during the wet season—which may cause you to miss your trip.
