Principle Owner - Stephen Brady
Based in Cairns, Queensland, Australia my diving experience extends over 15 years. Since 1998 I have worked in the diving industry and recreationally scuba dived a lot of Australia.
I worked with a very successful team and company in Pro Dive Cairns for the past 12 years. I was primarily responsible for marketing our destination for Diving on the Great Barrier Reef with and more specifically “Learning to Scuba Dive (Dive Education) and Liveaboard Dive Trips.
During the past 12 years my role took me to travelling all around Australia as well as Internationally through Europe, United Kingdom, North America and parts of Asia promoting scuba diving in Australia and then more specifically Cairns Queensland.
In November 2014 I left my full time position with Pro Dive Cairns to follow my dream of building Dive in Australia up to be a successful online diving website and as a dive specialist for Australia.
I received my Open Water certification in 1998 and then in 2002 completed my PADI Advance and then Rescue Course with Pro Dive Cairns. In 2011 I then obtained my PADI Dive Master certification.
Most of my diving experience takes in a lot of Australia with the exception of diving in Guam, Koh Tao in Thailand and the “Silfra” dive site in Iceland.
I have been fortunate enough to have dived on a number of occasions the famous Cod Hole/Ribbon Reefs, Coral Sea, and many of the dive sites out of Port Douglas and Cairns on the Outer Great Barrier Reef and some of Australia’s most popular dive sites like the Yongala SS Ship Wreck to diving in Byron Bay. Having now worked in the Queensland Dive (Tourism) Industry for 12 years I have a reasonable knowledge of marketing all levels of Dive Education and of the Queensland and Australian Dive Industry.
All up I have over 600 dives to my name.
I consider it a privilege to share what I have learned and what I love.
