The marine life on show in Australia will satisfy the novice scuba diver to the very experienced.  Australia’s dive locations offer such varied ocean experiences ranging from the magnificent coral formations of the Great Barrier Reef in Queensland to Ningaloo Reef in Western Australia both displaying an abundance of marine life.  A number of excellent shipwreck dives on the East Coast of Australia now a haven for many species of marine life such as large groupers, many rays, sharks, turtles and large schools of pelagic fish.

The East Coast is best known for reef diving, shipwrecks like the SS Yongala, to the temperature waters in New South Wales and Victoria. Dive with Grey Nurse Sharks, Weedy Sea Dragons and experience an amazing cave dive off the coast of South West Rocks. If your thirst is to dive with Great White Sharks then Port Lincoln, South Australia is the place to visit.

Western Australia is the place to go to see Whale Sharks, Manta Rays plus a variety of Whales like the Minke Whale, Humpback Whale and Blue Whale, though also sighted in winter along the East Coast of Australia.
