Dinner is served under the stars as the vessel anchors for the night.
Arrive in Coral Bay and transfer to Shore Thing for a 4pm departure. Set sail through protected waters surrounded by dense coral formations before an afternoon snorkel or dive near Five Fingers Reef. As the sun sets over the Indian Ocean, relax on deck while we anchor for the night.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning snorkel or dive at Pandora’s Garden, home to stunning plate corals and marine turtles. Sail through Batemans Bay, where resident Manta Rays gather to mate and feed, with a guided discussion on their biology and behaviour. Navigate the striking Stanley Pools, searching for dugongs, dolphins, and seasonal Humpback Whales (June–October) before more diving and snorkeling en route to Chabjuwardoo Bay.
Sail north to Point Cloates, where we explore exclusive snorkel and dive sites like The Fishbowl, Holey Moley, and Turtle Pond. Pass the Stefano shipwreck site, learning about the dramatic survival story of its crew. Step ashore at Point Cloates for a breathtaking sunset over the dunes before returning for dinner and a review of the day’s marine encounters.
After breakfast, dive into Point Cloates’ best sites, including Cloates Corner, The Clam Graveyard, and The Benan Shipwreck, home to vibrant reef life and macro critters like nudibranchs and octopuses. Sail into Norwegian Bay, passing the ruins of a historic whaling station before snorkelling the Fin Shipwreck, a 1923 whaling chaser wrecked inside the reef lagoon, now teeming with marine life.
Start the day with a kayak or SUP along the pristine coastline, keeping an eye out for rays and feeding turtles. Enjoy another thrilling snorkel or dive at sites like The Minefield, The Ravine, or Lannie’s Lumps, home to giant groupers, moray eels, and loggerhead turtles. As we pass North Reef, search for Manta Rays before a final snorkel at North Reef Nursery, a haven for reef sharks and schooling fish.
Before lunch, take one last snorkel or dive at stunning sites like The Ridge, The Stag Forest, or Asho’s Gap, a cleaning station for grey reef sharks. Watch as cleaner fish dart in and out of their gills while they hover in the currents.
