Guided Snorkelling Tour

These guided shore snorkel tours are simple and stress-free—no boats, no crowds, just reef. You’ll meet your guides at the dive shop, get fitted with all your snorkel gear, and take a short walk to the easy beach entry point. Once in the water, your expert guide will lead the way, pausing to share fascinating insights about the reef and its marine life.

Whether it’s your first time snorkelling or you’re looking to refine your skills, you’ll enjoy a relaxed, educational, and safe way to explore the Great Barrier Reef.

Introductory Dive

Maybe it’s your very first time diving, or perhaps you’ve tried it before but haven’t earned your scuba certification yet. Either way, this easy, fun-filled experience is your ticket to an underwater paradise.

You can choose between two options: a Pool Intro Dive, perfect for getting comfortable in calm, shallow water, or a Pool & Ocean Intro Dive, where you’ll take your new skills straight into the Great Barrier Reef.

After a quick and simple briefing with your friendly instructors, you’ll gear up and take your first magical breaths underwater—always under the close supervision of qualified SSI dive professionals.

Guided Certified Dives

If you’re newly certified, diving with a guide lets you skip the guesswork and head straight for the good stuff—hidden coral gardens, curious marine life, and all the best-kept underwater secrets. It’s a relaxed, stress-free way to explore Magnetic Island’s reefs while your guide takes care of navigation.

If you’re an experienced diver, having a local guide makes all the difference. Each dive is tailored to your interests—whether you’re chasing rare nudibranchs, hunting for unique macro photo opportunities, or just soaking up the reef’s beauty. The guides are passionate about macro diving and love spotting unusual critters, making every dive an exciting and rewarding adventure.

Depending on the trip that you choose to do, your experience will take anywhere between 1.5 hours to 4 hours.
