Prepare for an unforgettable encounter with the majestic manta rays, one of the ocean’s largest ray species. These incredible creatures boast wide triangular “wings” known as pectoral fins, which gracefully propel them through the vast expanse of the open ocean.

Coral Bay, in Western Australia, encounters manta rays all year round. These majestic marine animals possess an impressive wingspan of up to 4 meters. Swimming alongside manta rays is a completely safe experience, as they lack the barbed tail or “stinger” characteristic of stingrays, making them harmless to humans.

The highlight of this extraordinary marine ecotour is the opportunity to swim with these awe-inspiring manta rays. Our team of professional Eco tour guides will strive to make this encounter a reality, as it has become an almost daily event in Coral Bay on the renowned Ningaloo Reef. This tour is set out in search of Manta Rays and other marine life is offered daily. While sightings cannot be guaranteed, research involvement allows us to expect to enjoy Manta Rays, Turtles and Reef sharks most days of the year.

In the event of tour cancellation by the passenger, the following terms and conditions apply: · Once a booking is confirmed a cancellation fee of 25% of total tour cost applies · Passenger Provides less than 7 days' notice - 100% of total tour cost applies
In the event a passenger wishes to transfer their booking to another date through no fault of Coral Bay Ecotours the following terms and conditions apply; · Passenger provides 2 - 4 days’ notice - 25% of total tour cost applies · Passenger provides less than 24 hrs notice - 50% of total tour cost applies
If a tour is cancelled due to a change in government regulations, as a directive for an external governing body, as a matter of public safety or in extenuating circumstances such as COVID19 health crisis, Coral Bay Ecotours reserves the right to retain 25% of the total tour cost as an administration fee.
Coral Bay Ecotours advises that you provide enough time in Coral Bay to allow for tour cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances. Should the booking be cancelled by the passenger for any reason (final payment not received, illness, deposit not received in a timely manner) the original tour costs may no longer apply.
-A minimum 25% of the order needs to be paid as a deposit to confirm the booking. The balance of the booking needs to be paid 5 days prior to tour date. -Online booking fees and Credit card surcharges are non-refundable. This applies even if the tour is cancelled by Coral Bay Ecotours due to unforeseen circumstances.
Coral Bay Ecotours does not offer non-sighting repeat vouchers or refunds for this tour.
In the event that an in-water interaction is not possible on the day of the tour, Interaction swimmers will be refunded from the interaction price to the ‘Wildlife swimmer’ price. Coral Bay Ecotours does not offer non-sighting repeat vouchers for this tour. ​ Please note no refund will be offered if no sighting while in the water occurs. ​ Swim with Whale Shark is also considered as in-water interaction and no refund will be offered.
