Pool Scuba Discovery Experience (2 hours)
Discover Scuba Diving in Just 2 Hours! Ready to dive into a new world of adventure? Our Scuba Discovery Experience is the perfect introduction to the underwater world. In just 2 hours, you’ll learn the basics of scuba diving, including breathing underwater, buoyancy control, and underwater communication. No prior experience required! Our expert instructors will guide you through every step, ensuring your safety and comfort. Plus, if you decide to enroll in our Open Water Course, we’ll credit the cost of your Discovery Dive towards your course fee.
Reef Scuba Discovery Experience (2 days)
Tick scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef off your bucket list with our semi-private two-day experience.
On your first day, you’ll start with a comprehensive theory lesson to understand the basics of scuba diving. Then, you’ll practice your skills in our on-site pool under the watchful eye of our experienced instructors. By the end of the day, you’ll feel confident and ready to explore the underwater world.
On the second day, embark on a thrilling adventure to the stunning Great Barrier Reef. You’ll enjoy two dives, each one more breathtaking than the last. As you descend into the crystal-clear waters, you’ll encounter a dazzling array of marine life, from colourful corals to graceful sea turtles. Between dives, you can relax on the boat, snorkel, or savour a delicious lunch.
Kids Future Buddies Experience (90 minutes)
Give your child a glimpse into the exciting world of scuba diving with our 90-minute Kids Future Buddy Experience. Perfect for kids aged 8-12, this fun and educational program introduces the basics of scuba diving in a safe and controlled pool environment. Your child will learn essential skills, play underwater games, and experience the thrill of breathing underwater. With our experienced instructors by their side, your child will have a blast and build confidence in the water.
Open Water Course (3 Days)
Dive Spear and Sport offers an SDI Open Water Course designed to not only teach you the basics of scuba diving, but to inspire a lifelong love of the underwater world. With small class sizes and expert instructors, you’ll gain the confidence and skills to explore stunning coral reefs, dive with marine life, and experience the thrill of underwater adventure. Our course combines online learning, pool sessions, and open water dives to provide a comprehensive and enjoyable learning experience.

- 9.00am start at Dive Spear and Sport Dive Center – 4 Jeffery Court, Agnes Water. Go over Scuba Theory, then dive into the Pool to discover Scuba Diving for the first time in a pool. (Start times may vary due to availability)

- Day 1 – 9.00am start at Dive Spear and Sport Dive Center – 4 Jeffery Court, Agnes Water.
- Day 2 – 7:00am meet at our vessel ‘Yemalla’ Located at the 1770 Marina
- (Departure and return times may vary due to bar crossings/tide times. Please confirm your trip times with our team)
