Set sail on Summer Jo’s 3 Night 3 Day Outer Barrier Reef Adventure. With small group sizes, expert guides, and top-tier diving experiences, Summer Jo provides an intimate and immersive journey through some of the most pristine and diverse marine environments on the Outer Great Barrier Reef.
On this trip you will get to experience some of the best Outer Great Barrier Reef sites from the Whitsundays.
Also included in the itinerary you will still get to visit on the way home the famous Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet.
Summer Jo’s 3 Night 3 Day trip is to book if you are a keen certified diver looking to explore the Outer Great Barrier Reefs. If you are wanting to learn to scuba dive and obtain your open water dive certification while visiting Airlie Beach and the Whitsunday Islands this is also your best liveaboard trip for you. Over the three days you will complete onboard all your dive course theory and training dives. You will also then be given the opportunity to practice your new found diving skills with some great fun dives.

No prior experience? No problem! The SSI Open Water Course is your first step into the world of scuba diving. Over three incredible days, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to dive safely to 18 meters, all while exploring the vibrant coral reefs and marine life of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. With expert instruction, hands-on training, and plenty of time in the water, you’ll leave with a globally recognised certification—and a newfound passion for the underwater world! This course is available of the 3 Day 3 Night trip.
SSI Advanced Open Water Course – Explore Deeper & Smarter
For certified divers looking to enhance their skills, the SSI Advanced Open Water Course offers the perfect balance of adventure and education. This course builds on your experience, introducing you to deeper dives, underwater navigation, and specialty diving like drift or night diving. Conducted on the 2 Day 2 Night and the 3 Day 3 Night trip, this program is designed to give you more confidence, new skills, and the ability to explore the ocean like never before.
From scuba diving and snorkelling to stunning sunsets and stargazing, every trip on Summer Jo is unique and will leave you with unforgettable memories.
