What’s Involved:
The Divers Den PADI Rescue Diver course is made up of three key components:

Knowledge Development – Learn the theory behind rescue techniques and dive incident management.

Skill Development – Practice rescue skills under the guidance of our experienced Divers Den PADI Instructors.

Open Water Application – Put your training into action during a two-day, one-night liveaboard trip aboard OceanQuest, right on the Great Barrier Reef.

No problem. You can start your training with the PADI Emergency First Response (EFR) course on your first day with us. Just get in touch for details.

Full Itinerary

Theory:
The course begins with classroom sessions covering rescue techniques, accident management, and first aid.

Pool Skills:
Students will practice essential rescue skills in a pool, including dealing with panicked divers, rescuing unconscious divers, and administering first aid.

Liveaboard Experience:Students will embark on a liveaboard trip on the Ocean Quest to the Outer Great Barrier Reef.

Open Water Dives:They will complete several open water dives, practicing rescue scenarios in a real-world environment.

Rescue Scenarios:Students will put their skills to the test by participating in various rescue scenarios under the supervision of their instructor.
