Tour Overview

The dive sites visited showcase breathtaking coral reef landscapes with depths ranging from 4m to 12m, averaging around 6-8m. As a fringing reef, Ningaloo is naturally shallow, but it’s packed with vibrant coral structures and diverse marine life.

All dives are guided, with small groups (maximum of 8 divers, though usually fewer) to ensure a more personal and immersive experience. Each dive lasts 45-50 minutes, with visibility typically ranging from 10-15m, depending on conditions. Water temperatures vary from 20°C in winter to 26°C in summer, and you are provided with full-length 5mm wetsuits for your comfort.

After exploring the reef, you will be searching for resident manta rays! If spotted, you’ll have the chance to snorkel alongside these graceful giants, making your Ningaloo experience truly unforgettable.

Itinerary

8:00 AM – Meet at the Dive Shop
Kick off your adventure at our dive shop, where you’ll be geared up with everything you need—mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, and dive equipment if you’re joining below the surface. After a quick briefing, you’re off to explore Ningaloo Reef!

Explore the Reef
The first stop is a vibrant coral site teeming with marine life. Snorkellers will glide over colourful corals and tropical fish, while divers descend into the blue for a guided underwater exploration.

Morning Tea & Manta Search
Back on board, refuel with some morning tea as you cruise to an area known for its resident manta rays. The spotter plane will scan the waters, and if a manta is found, it’s time to jump in for an unforgettable swim alongside these gentle giants!

Wildlife Cruise & Return
After the manta encounter, you’ll cruise the bay, keeping an eye out for turtles, reef sharks, and other incredible marine life. Then, you’ll head back to the jetty, wrapping up an epic morning on the Ningaloo Reef.

1:30 PM – Return to Coral Bay
Back on dry land, with plenty of stories to tell and memories to keep!
