An exciting underwater journey awaits those who embark on the PADI Open Water Course with Ningaloo Reef Dive in Coral Bay, WA! This is the world’s most popular and widely recognised Level 1 SCUBA certification, allowing you to dive anywhere in the world with a buddy.
Over three incredible days, experienced instructors will teach you everything you need to become a certified diver. You’ll start with essential dive theory and confined water practice before heading out to the stunning Ningaloo Reef for your four open water dives. Plus, this course often includes the chance to snorkel with manta rays!
Your first day starts in the classroom, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of SCUBA diving, including dive theory, safety procedures, and essential skills. After the classroom session, you’ll head to a confined water environment (usually a pool) to practice basic diving techniques under the guidance of your instructor.
Now the real adventure begins! You’ll join on the boat and head out to the spectacular Ningaloo Reef for your first two open water dives. Here, you’ll apply the skills you learned in confined water while exploring the underwater world. The open water dives are typically conducted as part of the Manta Ray Interaction Tour, so you may also get the chance to snorkel with these graceful creatures! Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea are provided on board.
Your last day of training includes two more open water dives to solidify your skills and boost your confidence in the water. Once you’ve successfully completed all required skills, you’ll officially be a certified PADI Open Water Diver! Like the previous day, your dives are often part of the Manta Ray Interaction Tour, giving you another opportunity to snorkel with these incredible marine animals.
