Join this highly acclaimed, immersive, and eco-certified fully guided scuba diving and snorkelling adventure on the Great Barrier Reef, with a maximum of 12 passengers on board. You will taken to 2 secluded reef locations with highly experienced marine biologists, in groups of no more than six guests. Enjoy a tranquil and crowd-free day with up to four hours snorkelling at the reef. Independence is ABC Reef Safaris’ premium dive vessel, purpose-built for small groups and serious reef adventures. Spacious dive and snorkel deck. The dive boat combines functionality with comfort, featuring freshwater showers, bathrooms and ample room to unwind between dives.

Itinerary Highlights:
7:45 am: Check-in at Marano’s Wharf, Port Douglas
8:00 am: Depart for the Great Barrier Reef; safety briefings and snorkel orientation
Morning snorkelling and marine talks at the first reef site
Mid-morning: Light refreshments while moving to second reef
Afternoon snorkelling at second reef site
1:30 pm: Return to Port Douglas with lunch and drinks (beer/wine extra)
3:00 pm: Arrival back in Port Douglas

Private Transfers Can Be Arranged
Cancellations made within 48 hours prior to the booked tour date or ‘no shows’ are subject to 100% cancellation charge with no refund – If a cancellation takes place outside the 48-hour period then there is a $25 admin charge per person. Cancellations made within 5 days of charter date are subject to a 100% cancellation charge – If a cancellation takes place outside the 5-day period then there is a $300 admin charge.
All daily tours are subject to minimum participant numbers.
Children minimum age to participate is 7+. There is no special child fare.
Management reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a tour at any time subject to weather conditions. Tour itineraries may change subject to weather conditions. In the event of cancelation, a full refund will be provided
