You’ll refine your diving skills, learn how to assist instructors, guide certified divers, and gain a deep understanding of dive theory and safety protocols. Whether you’re looking to work in the dive industry or simply take your skills to the next level, the Divemaster course sets the foundation for a future in diving and becoming a ocean protector.
The instructors at your disposal throughout your training are known for their exceptional professionalism, extensive experience, and passion for the ocean and scuba diving. Facilities are well-equipped with modern gear, comfortable boats, and thorough safety protocols, ensuring a seamless diving experience. Located on the doorstep of one of the world’s most biodiverse ecosystems, the Great Barrier Reef offers unparalleled access to vibrant coral gardens, dramatic drop-offs, and abundant marine life.
PADI Divemaster course is your gateway into the world of professional scuba diving. As the first professional-level certification in the PADI system, becoming a Divemaster qualifies you to supervise certified divers, assist with PADI training courses, and work in a variety of dive operations — both on land and at sea. It’s also the crucial stepping stone toward becoming a PADI Instructor.
This 19-day Divemaster program blends comprehensive dive theory with hands-on practical experience. You’ll participate in both confined water and open water sessions, assisting real students under the guidance of experienced instructors. A highlight of the course is the inclusion of two three-day liveaboard trips, where you’ll log up to 20 dives on the Great Barrier Reef — a mix of required training dives and recreational fun dives.
