Diving Details

Personally I love taking the drive to Port Douglas and diving the reefs at Agincourt as you are on the very outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef section called the Ribbon Reefs.  If you like the idea of a liveaboard dive trip then let me know.  Your day on Poseidon will offers you to experience some of the very best possible day boat diving in clear outer reef waters, beautiful corals and incredible marine life found at the Agincourt ribbon reefs and only 70km north east of Port Douglas.

Cancellations made after 6:00pm the day prior to travel incur a 100% fee, while cancellations between 12:00pm and 6:00pm the day prior incur a 50% fee. Cancellations made before 12:00pm the day prior are free of charge.

Full Itinerary

7.30am – Quicksilver Reservations Counter located inside the Port Douglas Marina for your boarding passes.

8.10am – Vessel boarding at the Reef Marina, Port Douglas Complimentary tea, coffee served until departure, muffins & focaccia

8.30am – Time to head to the Outer Great Barrier Reef

10.20am – Arrive at 1st Agincourt Reef Site (Enjoy your first scuba dive and snorkeling experience)

11.20am – Transit to 2nd Agincourt Reef Site

11.30am – Arrive at 2nd Agincourt Reef Site(Enjoy your second scuba dive and snorkeling experience)

12.00pm – Buffet lunch served

1.20pm – Transit to 3rd Agincourt Reef Site (Enjoy your first scuba dive and snorkeling experience)

1.30pm – Arrive at 3rd Agincourt Reef Site (Enjoy your first scuba dive and snorkeling experience)

1.30pm – Afternoon tea served

2.30pm – All passengers board for final passenger count

2.40pm – Commence return journey

FAQ

Possible marine encounters

Our reef locations are rich in ecological variety and support a wide range of marine species. You may encounter turtles, vibrant wrasse, cod, parrotfish, anemonefish (Nemo), angelfish, giant clams, and reef sharks during your visit.

How long will we stay at the reef?

We will be at the reef for over five hours though the boat may move between different parts of the reef.

Is lunch provided?

A tropical buffet lunch featuring prawns is provided onboard. Guests will also enjoy a delicious morning tea on departure, with focaccias and a selection of muffins or cake, plus afternoon tea with cakes and cheese and biscuits on the return trip. All meals and refreshments are included in the cruise price.

Taxes and Levy

All taxes are included in the total price. A Government Environmental Management Charge (EMC) of $8 per person applies to all adults and children 4 years and over entering the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage area. This fee is included in the fare price.

Cancellation Policy
