This 2-day, 1-night cruise offers a guided kayak adventure, snorkelling, and a choice of private or shared cabins. With the crew’s expert local knowledge, you’ll explore the best of the Whitsundays.

Where do you go? Where the wind takes you. The Summertime easily explores all the popular places of the Whitsunday Islands, including Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet. The tour price includes accommodation, all meals, wetsuits, snorkelling and kayak equipment. You need to bring swimwear, hat, change of clothes, sunscreen, warmer clothes for night, beach towel and any alcoholic drinks you may want during your trip (no glass please).

Day 1
Depart Coral Sea Marina and set sail towards the largest of the islands, Whitsunday Island. You’ll have lunch along the way in Hook Passage enjoying the views and getting to know your fellow passengers. Our friendly guide will take you over to Tongue Bay and complete a short bush walk up to Hill Inlet Lookout. After taking some amazing photos you’ll head down the path to Whitehaven Beach and enjoy a couple of hours relaxing on the world famous beach. Once everyone is back on board you’ll enjoy some sunset snacks and a beverage on your way to the anchorage for the evening. Enjoy a BBQ dinner on deck and a photo slideshow of the days photos.
Day 2
Wake up in the beauty of the islands and have breakfast on deck while the crew is preparing the kayaks. The deckhand will take everyone on a guided kayak tour exploring hidden inlets and fringing reef which is a trip highlight for many. After enjoying a 2 hour gentle paddle you’ll gear up for a snorkel to enjoy the underwater sea life. Once everyone is back on board the crew will cook up a BBQ lunch and you’ll set sail back to Airlie Beach.
Itinerary is subject to weather conditions, crew will select best locations and activities for each day.
We recommend bringing a small overnight bag with comfortable clothes, toiletries, sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen), walking shoes, jacket for cool evenings during winter, beach towel, camera, and cash or card for any on board purchases.
Yes. The minimum age for Summetime is 18 years to 65 years of age. A relative degree of fitness is required to travel on Summertime accessing ladders and ability to move in and out of their tender.
Sailing tours are always dependent on the weather. Any cancellations made within the cancellation period will unfortunately result in the complete forfeiture of the ticket price. There is a 14-day cancellation period for all overnight boats.
All prices are per person in AUD and include GST (excluding administration fees). While most pricing is quoted at a per passenger rate, private cabins must be booked and paid for by the full cabin price. Passengers wanting sole use of a private cabin will need to pay the full cabin price, usually for 2 persons. All prices include professional skipper and crew, live-aboard accommodation, all meals, fresh linen and use of wet suits or stinger suits and snorkelling equipment.
