Course Overview

Already certified and ready to level up? The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course is your gateway to deeper dives, new adventures, and greater underwater confidence. Over three action-packed days, you’ll complete six specialty dives, each designed to build your skills and expand your diving horizons.

Whether it’s navigating like a pro, exploring deep sites, or experiencing the thrill of a wreck or drift dive, you’ll grow as a diver while exploring the breathtaking marine world of the Whitsundays. Dive smarter, dive deeper, and experience the ocean like never before.

If you’re not yet certified and looking to dive, you can learn to dive with the PADI Open Water Course option. If you’re already certified and looking for a dive adventure, there are double dive trips available.

Dive Specialties Covered

• Deep Diving: Safely venture beyond the 18-metre mark, learning essential skills to handle the physical effects of deeper dives.
• Underwater Navigation: Master compass use and natural underwater landmarks to confidently navigate beneath the waves.
• Additional Adventure Dives: Choose from specialized experiences tailored to your interests, such as drift diving, wreck diving, peak performance buoyancy, fish identification, night diving, and more.

Prerequisites

• Open water license or equivalent
• Minimum age: 12 years old
• Completion of a simple medical questionnaire to confirm suitability for scuba diving.
• Proof of at least 6 logged dives in the past 12 months

Itinerary

2 Dives per day conducted from a custom-built dive vessel, designed specifically for diving adventures in the Whitsundays. More information provided upon booking.
